This world has become so divided and many of us don’t get the chance to open up, connect with another person, and truly be heard. I became a therapist because I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their unique stories. In a session with me, you will find a safe space to tell your story and discuss your concerns without being judged or shamed. You will receive unconditional positive regard, no matter what you are dealing with.
I work with folks from all walks of life throughout the state of Ohio, including teenagers and adults of all ages. I have experience with women’s issues, life transitions, shame, addiction, perfectionism, personality disorders, economic stress, loneliness, and caregiving. I received a Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2012 and became licensed to practice the same year. My training and education have allowed me to utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Psychodynamic Therapies. Because each client’s concerns and goals are different, treatment is tailored to the individual.
I love the work I get to do with clients! It is especially meaningful to me to offer services remotely to those who otherwise might not be able to access in-person counseling. Transportation or feeling well enough to get to a session should not be required for you to obtain the care you need. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to accompanying you on your healing journey.
